Telecare TV Announces Rebrand to Catholic Faith Network

UNIONDALE, NY, August 9, 2018: Telecare, the television station of the Diocese of Rockville Centre today announced that it is rebranding itself to the Catholic Faith Network (CFN) effective September 7, 2018. The comprehensive rebrand elevates the focus on quality, value-oriented Catholic programming.

Catholic Faith Network, will continue to provide original content, daily Masses and devotions along with reporting on news from the Vatican and nationwide. In addition over ten new series will begin airing in the fall.

“As a vital vehicle of evangelization in the Diocese of Rockville Centre and beyond, I am proud to announce our television ministry’s new brand,” said Most Reverend John O. Barres, Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre. “The Catholic Faith Network will continue to serve the Church in Rockville Centre and beyond announcing the Gospel in a dynamic and ever-developing commitment to the dramatic missionary growth of the Church. I am proud of CFN’s energetic commitment to serve the Church and how the Vatican and Bishops of the United States use it as a means of teaching and evangelization.”

“This rebrand comes at a time of remarkable growth,” said Rev. Msgr. Jim Vlaun, President and CEO, Catholic Faith Network. “This new change better reflects who we are and lets all America know that we are available on their cable platforms, online and on social media proclaiming the Catholic faith. This is the result of a long process of discernment and a great deal of prayer and reflection with many people.”

“I am proud of the work the board and management team of the Catholic Faith Network in bringing about this exciting change,” said Paul Durnan, CFN Board Chair. “This development will further assist the Church in becoming missionary disciples.”

A new logo has been created to reflect our mission and values, which is now part of the Catholic Faith Network identity. “Our logo contains Christ as the center of our ministry and proclamation,” said, Msgr. Vlaun. “Our Lord is surrounded by four quadrants, representing the four gospels, collectively expanding, illustrating broadcast waves of the Gospel being lived and preached through CFN.”
