Bishops’ International Justice and Peace Committee Offers Policy Framework for Targeted Killing by Drones

WASHINGTON - May 13, 2015 - The practice of targeted killings by unmanned drones should be limited by international standards, be transparent and guided by an awareness of how the practice affects conflict around the world, said the chairman of the U.S. bishops’ Committee on International Justice and Peace in a letter to National Security Advisor Susan Rice.
