What is “Congress”?

A convocation of two to three thousand people from across the USA, Canada and the
Caribbean, -
An assembly to consider the concerns of Black Catholics in America,

A starting point for a five-year plan of action guiding American American Ministries,

A four day celebration of Catholic and African American faith, identity and culture,

A unique space, where Blacks who are Catholic and Catholics who are Black are, just
once every five years, a majority voice, -
A conference, with panels, exhibits, and cultural events to discover and share best
practices in evangelization and social ministry -
A spiritual uplift of glorious Eucharistic celebrations with dozens of concelebrants,
superb music, inspirational dance and homilies, -
Professional development for parish and diocesan staff in Black Catholic ministries,
sharing their strengths and refreshing their work, -
A not to be missed event for youth and young adults, with a full program designed
for the next generation of Black Catholics.
Registration Cost
a) $225.00 per person
b) $200.00 per person for a special group rate
Note: Diocese of Rockville Centre MCAA members attending together as a delegation would receive the special group rate.

Flat room rate: $140.00 including taxes
