Media Advisory

WHAT: The Most Reverend William Murphy, S.T.D., L.H.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, will be the principal celebrant and homilist at the Annual Diocesan Red Mass. The Red Mass marks the traditional opening of the judicial year. During this Mass all members of the legal community, including judges, government officials, attorneys, legal staff, paralegals and law school faculty are reminded of the power they possess and request God’s guidance in administering their office or position with wisdom, justice, fortitude, compassion and counsel. All members of the public are invited to attend this Mass.
